Casey Printers, professional athlete, entrepreneur, author and motivational speaker has travelled down many roads during his professional lifetime – but he’s come to one conclusion, “There is no higher purpose than service to others.”

 

From growing up in a single parent home – to making choices which could have curtailed his chances of becoming a highly recruited NFL quarterback, there is no argument Printers suffered setbacks.  Through it all, he promised himself never to give up on pursuing his dream of becoming a competitive NFL athlete.  Printers finally earned his chance to play in the NFL in 2007, but the setbacks continued.  However, Casey decided to define SETBACK to mean an opportunity for a COMEBACK.

 

Casey Printer’s attitude, perseverance and abilities are the exact qualities that have made him the speaker of choice for thousands.  He has used the lessons learned from a career as a professional athlete and business owner to share a message of “Becoming who you are destined to be, “helping to inspire everyone to recognize that the BEST IS YET TO COME!

 

As an athlete, Casey has been compared to NFL and CFL Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon.  In 2004 was recognized as the CFL’s Most Valuable Player while a member of the BC Lions.  In a season where he exploded on the scene, Casey set many single season records while leading the Lions to the Grey Cup final.  He also made stops in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs and the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats before returning triumphantly back to the BC Lions in 2009.

 

On and off the field, Printers is an inspiration to many.  His story, however, doesn’t end on the football field.  Printers recently partnered with Glennlock Foods Ltd., where he established Frenchy’s Chicken in North Houston, Texas.  Frenchy’s has grown to become the hometown favourite with a full Creole-style menu of sides to accompany famous, spicy “Frenchy’s Chicken”.  In 2010, Casey published his first book, “From High School to the Pros” which serves as the ultimate guide for student athletes.
